The Use Of The "N" Word

Hey All You Fusionfunkateers!
With all of the contraversy surrounding Dr.Laura Schlessinger for her use of the "N" word,Do you think that a music D.J. playing a song with the word is inviting any cotraversy?
I happen to think that if it's done by artists,it's less offensive because the word is not directed at anyone.
I am thinking about playing a song by Sly and The Family Stone called "Don't Call Me Nigger Whitey".
Do you think I'd be creating a firestorm by doing so?
Tell me what you think.

Power& Light or Just White Power

Hoey All You Fusionfunkateers!
It's come to my attention that there are some Old School Concerts being held on Sunday afternoons at The Power and Light District Downtown, and many of my listeners have commented that the sound system used leaves a lot to be desired.
It seems that the concerts are targeting the black community, which has had a difficult time with the Cordish Company, the one contracted to run the various venues at the Power and Light. The same company that has had a very discriminatory policy concerning their "Dress Code",and their inconsistent enforcement of that Code.
It seems as a result of the inconsistent enforcement,it has been reported that at least two discrimination lawsuits have been filed against Cordish and the Power and Light District.
The City's Human Relations Department has sent investagators and observers to various restaurants and bars, only to find out that the allegations were true.
In an effort to improve its image with black community, there have been a series of concerts, with black artists, with mixed results, based on news reports and other sources.
In 2009,it was reported that rapper DJ Jazzy Jeff experienced problems with the sound quality.Well,it's been stated by many concert goers that the problem persists.
It's been reported to me that many of this summer's events have been too loud, that the sound may be fine for a rock act,but not for R&B acts.
Many concert goers have expressed getting back of the hand service while attending these concerts at Power and Light.
The real question is,why bother? Sure you want to go and see and hear your favorite acts. Many of you no only want to relive past times and share those memories with your friends and loved ones, but is it worth it to go in the hot weather, only to not only have your hearing threatened, but to see your favorite artistic legend disrespected this way?Isn't it about time that this community lets the City know that our tax dollars should be taken more seriously, just as serious as the tax dollars that come from North of the River?
Maybe we should let the Power and Light or the White Power district or whatever, know that we have the ability to cut off their little fountain of tax money if they insist on coming here to K.C.,and getting this welfare check that we help pay for, that if you insist on disrepecting us,and our artists who are well respected around the globe, and in many cases more respected around the globe than they are here in the U.S.,that if we have to stop patronizing the Power and Light District,as it seems that's what you want anyway, that we'll also see to it that we cut off your funds, that we have the voting power to elect people to the City Council and as Mayor who will cut off your access to our tax money?Or will you continue to put up with this nonsense?
There was a time when the City Parks and Recreation Dept.used to put on these kinds of Venues at various City parks. What's wrong with that?
Give me your thoughts.
