Tuesday Midday Medley
HEY ALL YOU FUSIONFUNKATEERS!
On the Tuesday Midday Medley,I'll have keyboardist,songwriter,vocalist and much sought after producer Joel Gaines as my guest.I'll plenty of new music as well.

Piracy
HEY ALL YOU FUSIONFUNKATEERS!
I've had several of ask me to hook you up with a copy of the music in my playlist on the Tuesday Midday Medley.
Maybe you work at a bank as a teller.Let me ask you,just because someone else is willing to risk their job,or jail time,do you think you'd embezzle some of that money just because a long time friend asked you to,as a favor?
Will that friend bail you out of jail,pay the retainer for a lawyer to represent you in court,testify on your behalf,help you keep your job?
If the answer to all of those questions is No,then you won't be surprised when your request for me to "burn you one" is denied will you?
It's simple:I don't do piracy!I'm an ex-musician,but still a musician at heart!
You might get pissed at me and want to have me taken off the air in retaliation,but at least I won't have to face a judge in criminal and civil,bacause I tried to save our "friendship"!So I say a "friend"won't ask me to break the law and take money out of an artist's pocket!

Smooth Jazz
Hey All You Fusion Funkateers!
This is the Fusion Funkmeister to talk to you about "Smooth Jazz"
All this categorization of music is real sickening.
Too many phenomenal musicians are lumped into that category,when in fact,we don't see them for what they really are:artists who have the amazing ability to capture human interaction on the planet in all its glory and beauty,pain,hope and sometimes failure,as well a host of other scenarios.
One of our Masters of American Music,Duke Ellington is quoted as having said,"There are only two kinds of Music,Good and Bad".It sounds to me that only the listener can determine what music falls into which category.
Well I have my own thoughts on what is "Smooth Jazz".I express that with the selections I choose to play on the Tuesday Midday Medley,on 90.1 FM KKFI.Tune in Tuesday and tell me what you think!

This coming Tuesday, I'll have Jerry Viviano,one the organizers of the Italian Festival,and on a live phone chat,I'll have sax man Joseph Vincelli,who will be the featured performer at Italian Festival.We'll have all the info that you'll need to go and have a good time at the festival.
